The Gym at East Grinstead Sports Club

Whether you are new to the gym, an experienced user needing a new challenge, or looking for a personal trainer to push you one step further, our team at EGSC will support your unique journey.

Our personalized member journey will be tailored to suit you and your needs. Welcome sessions, fitness plans, and on-going reviews are included in your membership and our Personal Trainers are available to ensure you reach your goals.

THE GYM

We offer something for everyone; young and old, experienced or beginner. Our instructors will design you a unique gym programme especially to meet your needs and start you on the way to a healthier lifestyle. We also have fully qualified Personal Trainers who can support you through your health and fitness journey.

Our range of equipment includes: Cardiovascular kit including new stair climber and strider. A refurbished functional room including kettlebells, ski erg, battle ropes and Air dyne bike and an upgraded strength area with new squat and half racks.

Welcome Induction

What is it?

Get to know the team, the facilities and the gym equipment better to make the most of your membership. A member of the gym team will introduce themselves and then take you through a welcome workout which will include general fitness and resistance machines to ensure you know how to use them safely.

The induction will take around 30-45 minutes.

Personal Plan

What is it?

This is an opportunity to discuss individual goals and needs with your trainer and tell them what you would like to achieve in more detail. You will finish the session with your bespoke training plan to keep you motivated, informed and on the right track

The fitness plan will take around 30 – 60 minutes.

Plan Review

What is it?

To ensure you are enjoying your visits and maintaining your plan, you can arrange a review with a member of our gym team every 10-12 weeks. Giving you time to enjoy your progress and feel the benefits of your previous plan, this session will enable us to update your goals, plan and keep you motivated.

The fitness review will take 30 minutes

Personal Training

What is it?

Having a Personal Trainer comes at an extra cost but with that also comes a wide range of benefits. We have some great packages on offer which means it can – and will – work for you.

At every visit you will have your trainer at your side motivating you throughout your journey, giving you the best advice and support available.

As part of our Personal Training service we will look at your lifestyle, what makes you tick and your long and short term goals to ensure you achieve what you set out to and more.
